I am Ronnie Querubin. A pastor of a growing and thriving church in Bataan, husband and father of four beautiful children. Please allow me to share my testimony of how God so graciously brought me to my current state.
I will always be grateful for Subic Bay Baptist Church and the Subic Bay Children’s Home, where the Missionary Fulfer family has played a key role in helping and blessing my life.
At ten years old, I joined Subic Bay Children’s Home as the third child among twelve in a struggling family. My parents could not provide for all of us, but the Subic Bay Children’s Home became a source of hope. They welcomed me with love, taught me to read and write through Nanay (Mom) Ligaya Fulfer, and emphasized the importance of salvation. Subic Bay Children’s Home is both a family and a true home, where love and care are shown. Nanay (Mom) and Tatay (Dad) treated every child fairly, believing in me even at my most mischievous. This family taught me that following the Word of God is the key to a successful life. I have personally surrendered my life to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
At the Subic Bay Children’s Home, I also learned life skills like driving and the value of hard work. The Fulfer Family, Subic Bay Children’s Home supported me by sending me to college at Doane Baptist Seminary in Iloilo City. I studied pastorate there, though the distance, I always feel loved because they are always there to send me my everyday needs.
After I graduated, I was able to help in the ministry, every week, we go to the Prison Ministry & Hospital ministry where we share the Word of God that we have learned inside the Subic Bay Children’s Home & Subic Bay Baptist Church. I am forever grateful for Subic Bay Children’s Home, the Fulfer Family & Valbuena Family, as they continue to help children like me where there is no hope, but thanks be to God they are used to help us have a good and godly life. By God’s grace and the help of the missionaries I am now a pastor and met my Godly wife at Subic Bay Baptist Church and we now have four children who are growing in the nurture and admonition of our Lord and being used in the ministry.
