My personal testimony about Subic Bay Children’s Home, a place that is very close to my heart.
I have known Subic Bay Children’s Home since i was a kid my best friend, Hana Alecxis Valbuena-Villamiel who first introduced me to the home. From then on, i have witnessed how much of a blessing this ministry has been to many children.
Later on, I have had the privilege of working there as a secretary for almost 4 years, which gave me the opportunity to see closely how the home being led and how the children are cared for with so much love.
The children in Subic Bay Children’s Home are truly well taken care of and deeply loved by many people. They each have their own dorms and rooms, giving them a real sense of home and belonging. Every Friday, they enjoy FAMILY NIGHT, where they can watch movies or do fun activities together, just like any family would.
They also go to school where they are able learn, grow, and prepare for their future. Every Wednesday, they attend Chapel Hour, where they hear God’s Word, learn more about the Bible, and grow in their faith in our Lord.
One of the things that touched me the most is every birthday is celebrated — the children never forgotten. The home makes sure to buy them gifts and cakes, reminding them how special and loved they are.
As a former secretary, I personally witnessed with my own eyes how blessed the children are to be in such an environment. The Founder Teddy-Ligaya Fulfer and My Pastor / Director and his wife Odek-Annalisa Valbuena pour out genuine love, care, and dedication, and together with the support of many others, the children grow up surrounded by compassion, faith, and joy.
I can sincerely say that Subic Bay Children’s Home is not just an institution, but a TRUE FAMILY. We love the kids there so, so much!
